Description: Fish Montana has over 40 years of fishing experience in this area and is owned and operated by Skip Meier, a Montana native who loves to share a perfect family fishing adventure. From day trips on private waters to pack-in trips to pristine high mountain lakes and the headwaters of the Stillwater River, East and West Rosebuds and Rock Creek drainages. I also offer raft trips on the Stillwater and lower Yellowstone river along with horseback day trips up the Stillwater River.Day Trips: Fish private stretches of the local rivers, raft down the Stillwater or lower Yellowstone River, for the greatest of adventures. We'll saddle up some horses and ride past the crowd for outstanding stream fishing along with the most breathtaking scenery you've ever seen. I'll furnish lunch and a promise to get back just in time for some huckleberry ice cream! Pack In: We can tailor make your trip from one day to as many as you want. Directions: Fish Montana is located at Montana Hanna's in Dean Montana along Highway 419 between Fishtail and Nye, 30 miles south of Columbus (Interstate 90) take highway 78 to Jct. 419, 2 miles south of Absarokee (Nye/Fishtail Road) 14 miles to Dean. 944,000 acres in our back yard to play in. Over 400 lakes with the largest concentration of fishing holes in Montana.
