Description: Lost Creek Outfitting offers the best hunting available. We hunt on several ranches consisting of 34,000 acres of prime elk, mule deer and antelope country. The Missouri Rivers Breaks, which are between 3,000 and 4,000 feet of elevation, are hunted by foot and 4x4. As every hunter knows, it's better to be in shape come hunting season. We can walk as many as five miles a day hunting these magnificent animals. This is the place to go and with our private access to the land and our professional guiding experience, Lost Creek Outfitters is the one to go with for that chance at a possible trophy animalElk hunting is archery only in our area, unless you are lucky enough to draw a special rifle permit from the state of Montana. Deer and antelope hunting can be done by bow or rifle, and combination licenses for both species are available. Hunting for elk and antelope is done in September during archery season, when the bulls and bucks are in rut. The antelope rifle season starts in mid-October and runs into the first 2 weeks of deer season. Deer hunting season starts the last part of October and runs until the end of November.
